Trip to Moffat

I went to Moffat today to attend a conference with the the title Merlin Fact and Fake. It looked at who Merlin was and whether he existed - there are two versions of him - a Scottish and a Welsh one, as well as the Dark ages, place names, literature associated with Merlin and even studies of pollen which provide evidence of ancient woodlands.  It was all fascinating stuff.
