Mortis Dancing in the May Day Dawn

Grand Union Morris invited Wicket Brood, Whitethorn and Barefoot Belly dancers (in the photo) to dance in the May Day dawn at the Red Lion in Penn. Temperature was 2C and although the sun rose to clear skies, it soon fogged over. Even Brood dancers on their thick kit felt chilly. Don't lnow how the belly dancers managed but they did lovely dances.

Brilliant full English breakfast was served and a great time was had by all. Amazing to think that by the afternoon, the temp had risen to 23C.
