A work in progress

This afternoon's garden tasks:
- clear weeds, add compost, sheep poop, and blood and bone added to the main vege bed. Add mulch.
- apply seaweed tonic to lemon tree, feijoas, apricot, and nectarine tree. Add compost and other goodies as required. Add mulch.

The cheeky snail didn't last long.

Those who know me well will recognise the shift from fallow ground to productive is a good metaphor, full of hope and promise.

I'm not an ardent royalist but I'm sad to have wakened to the passing of the Queen. She led life of dedication and service, with an eye for colour and a sharp wit. The loss of a Mum and grandmother is tough for any family.
