End of an era.

The Queen is dead. Long live the King. I can remember going to my grandfather's house to watch the Coronation of the Queen on his new black and white tv. She has always been the monarch in my memory. At 18 I went to Buckingham Palace Garden Party as my father had been invited with my mother and any daughter of debutante age!! My younger sister at 16 couldn't go! How old fashioned that seems now. I am hoping for more changes as Charles takes on the crown and role of King.
We certainly need a more trimmed down royal family.
