Wall done

A good chunk of the morning was taken up with planning and then supporting the opening of our church for people to take time if they wished to enter the church for some time of prayer and reflection. Several did so.

The rest of the day was taken up with a variety of domestic duties which included a 30 minute wait in a queue just to hand in a prescription. And then wait an hour to get part of the items.
By the time I got home the two workmen had left ( it was after 5j. The had managed to start afresh on the wall tiles with the new batch which had arrived late yesterday afternoon. It was clear from the pencil drawing that they had a sense of achievement in getting the top of the wall completed before they left.

In the evening, while we watched the new king’s address, we felt overloaded with royal reporting so caught up on some recorded programmes.
