Tobacco hornworm

Discovered this tobacco hornworm happily eating on my American Beauty Berry Bush.

Totally in the dark as to how this guy ended up in my yard. They are voracious eaters and so it was an easy decision to put him in the empty Gatorade bottle at hand and put the lid back on.

There is a front moving in, bringing rain, and so things are a little cooler today and there is a breeze.

I got back from lunch with Birgit at the same time Kent got home from work. Kent went out to cut the grass and I went out to catch up on the latest Royal news and watch the King’s speech.
