Waiting

Getting to the airport is easier in some places than others. Within half an hour of checking out, topping up with fuel, returning the hire car and catching the shuttle we were there.
That meant a long wait till boarding but I’ve just started a good book so quite relaxing really.
Then when we arrived in Sydney we found Ubers were on surge rate and well over $100. We decided to catch the train, train, bus only to find the train was not running. However they not only had a replacement bus to Central but didn’t charge for it! The airport train is very expensive, $15 each I think so that was a saving.
Then we would have had to wait an hour for a bus from North Sydney to home but Julia was able to collect us.
Just goes to show you can have good days :-)
