Oxford Botanics

Went into Oxford to do some family birthday shopping and to sign the book of condolence for the late Queen at the Town Hall, then a peaceful stop in the University Botanics before wandering back home. I’m surprised by how sorrowful I feel about the Queen’s death and our loss of a female head of state. The gardens were a lovely space to spend a quiet time and they are looking much better for the recent rain.
