10 Countries Run - Day 5 - Finished!

Today is essentially a run back up through the countries to get to the finish at Abbey Rolduc, Kerkrade (Netherlands). The route planners had done a great job of making it interesting, starting with an exciting drive through the twisty roads of the Vosges.

The rain started pelting it down as we hit Belgium, but thankfully stopped as we pulled up to Spa Race circuit. We wandered in to the tail end of the DTM (German touring cars), when the Lotus Elise trophy was racing. Great to watch some very different cars for a bit!

We made it to Rolduc by 7pm, ready for photos, then the BBQ and party at the finish. A great finish to a great run with these plucky little cars. 10 Countries, 5 days, 2,000 miles. Done!
