Slioch and my shadow

Had a good journey up from Stirling, the weather was fab.

As always there was much rejoicing as Loch Maree came into view and the first sight of Slioch. We played Peat & Diesel’s version of Loch Maree Islands, as is tradition :-) Took this photo just as the midges started tucking in, like I was some English delicacy. B@stards. I’m sure midges have some useful purpose on this earth but at times I struggle to think what it can be.
