Kayaking at Skookumchuck Rapids

This is near Egmont, not far from where you need to take another ferry if you want to explore further along the Sunshine Coast. Tide water is forced through the Skookumchuck Narrows and create fast-flowing waves which are greatest in height and speed at high tide. It's a place for testing your kayaking skills as shown here and in the Extra photo.
