Apple foraging

Apple picking time, and I received a bag of foraged apples from one of my friends opposite, collected by her husband from the very numerous trees we have in the area. So, quite a while spent prepping them for cooking and freezing this morning.
Most of the afternoon I have been watching history being made on TV, following the Queen's cortege on the first part of it journey to Edinburgh. So moving, especially the first sight of the hearse appearing through the gates of Balmoral :(
Scotland looks so beautiful, no wonder she loved it there.
