Amsterdam escape

Dropped son No2 off at University of Glasgow yesterday to start his student life. Sounds like it’s going well and he’s already made new friends. Instead of dwelling on empty nest syndrome, we’ve come to Amsterdam for the weekend and it’s fantastic! Took a boat trip this afternoon with other tourists from USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia and El Salvador! Visited Rijksmuseum to see Rembrandt’s The Night Watch, newly restored! What a treat :)
