Rodents rule

In memory

I popped over to visit the memory book in the cemetery this lunchtime. Every morning, the cemetery staff turn the page to a new day, and my friend's epitaph was there to view on her birthday. This illustration of golden wattle is drawn by her name – it's a lovely touch. A cup of tea was raised in her memory at home.

S, who is visiting at the moment, is also a tea fan. After several breakfast cuppas, we visited Tour de France for lunchtime filled baguettes and camembert crisps and the Polish supermarket for Cheetos and raspberry jaffa cakes, as well as savoury ingredients for dinner (a chickpea and carrot pilaf – NOM).
