Waiting

The final part of the wedding event was today - a “Recovery Day”, which was held at the Villa Catalina where the wedding took place and where about 30 of the guests were also staying.
We got ready leisurely because we weren’t expected till after noon, and David booked a taxi to take us there because the Villa is quite a distance from our campsite. However the taxi firm is a bit “hit or miss” and this time it proved to be a “miss “! As we waited for about an hour and a half to be picked up! This is of David waiting and repeatedly calling the taxi firm and getting no response or some fob off. Very frustrating and very hot!
Eventually we did get there and it turned out to be good timing because we arrived at the same time as the pizzas being delivered.
We joined the crowd cooling off in the pool and nobody seemed to notice we were so late! Good to spend a bit more time with family who are scattered around the globe.
We finished off the day back at the campervan site with a lovely dinner on site.
