An honour

On this day, when the Queen travelled on her last journey from Balmoral to Edinburgh, Martin and I were in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada.

However, we were able to go to Government House and sign the Book of Condolence, where we met the Honourable Antoinette Perry, who is the Lieutenant Governor. We had a lovely conversation with her, and she shared her reminisces of meeting the Queen, and she even presented both of us with Platinum Jubilee pins.

A lovely reminder of both the Queen, but also how friendly the Canadians are.

We really love Canada.
