Another Silly Saturday ...

This time from Jacobsburg State Park.  

Before lunch today we packed up a picnic lunch and headed for Jacobsburg State Park for a walk at Sobers Run and a picnic afterward.  We had a great walk ... seeing lots of great things.  Most of the pictures in my collage were taken during our walk ... with the exception of the chipmunk (upper left) and the fuzzy caterpillar silhouette (bottom right).  The silly caterpillar that R is holding up (upper right pic) is yellow-necked caterpillar moth.  And it was very silly indeed!  

We made a few stops on the way home but then were home for the rest of the day.  I spent time outside again and even braved the cooler temps of the pool in what may very well be my final swim of the year.  We are supposed to be getting rain over the next couple of days and the temperatures will be lower than average.  The pool temp always takes a hit when that happens.  Sadly.  Last year I was swimming on September 22 but that's definitely not going to be the case this year.
