New Forest Ponies

We are in the New Forest in the Motorhome for a few days. It’s not all that New having been proclaimed as a Royal Forest by William the Conqueror in about 1079
This visit was postponed from August when the vehicle needed a new clutch.
We’ve just cycled to the village of Sway where we had a lovely meal at the Hare and Hounds. 
The New Forest ponies wander around as though they own the place. 
They do.  
I got this photo of a couple of them by the road on the way to the Pub.
