Cherry Tree Blossoms

Woke to rain, and a light dusting of snow on the surrounding mountains.  I walked down the hill to have a cuppa and scone with the church ladies.  From there I strolled into town, it was very cold, even though the sun started to shine.  These cherry tree blossoms look great at the moment.

Due to modern technology, I have spent most of the afternoon watching a live broadcast of the people filing past The Queens coffin in St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh.  What is so amazing is the number of people out in the early hours of the morning.  Just shows you how much respect she has received from people from all walks of life.

NZ has many official people attending the funeral on Monday.  They are flying to the UK on Thursday.
