Amandine's Plot Treize

Allotment bouquet

It might have started feeling autumnal, the flowers on the allotment are still vivid and summery.

The rudbeckia have started coming into their own. Some sunflowers are still blooming, the dahlias have never been happier and the lupins, calendulas and daisies are making a comeback.

I tend to find this time of year more enjoyable than the height of summer, when I'm constantly running around trying to get everything done and it can be hard to slow down and enjoy the beauty around. Now there is time for that again. Who knows, I might even sit by the pond with a coffee again!
