Glasshouse, Glasgow Botanic Gardens

A lovely warm and sunny September day here in Glasgow today.
Went for a walk along the Kelvin Walkway from Queen Margaret’s Drive then turned back after finding that my favourite coffee shop was shut today. Had a wander round the Botanic Gardens instead, lovely to see lots of people enjoying the late summer sun.
Had a walk through the Victorian Glasshouses which I haven’t been in for many years, they are only open in the afternoon and I am normally there in the morning. Came across this lovely wrought iron staircase heading up to the roof. I don’t remember it being painted in this beautiful deep pink colour, it looks lovely against the mass of greenery.
