Colourised

An old photo colourised today.

My Uncle E (Grandma’s brother) who looks very much like my brother, and his wife My Aunie A (who spelled out S-M-A-R-T-I-E-S slowly when I was about 3/4 years old to check my Gran was ok about me being offered the sweet treat, before it was formally offered).

As the child of a primary school teacher my reading, writing and spelling skills were pretty great before I started school (thanks to regular reading drills and bribes). I think I may have been at my peak then! :-)

I think the little boy now lives in Leicester and was until recently worked as a local councillor. He may now be in his early 80’s!
