Pruning

Today the forester went to help his brother prune grape vines.  The forester has pruned pine trees in his time but I  think grapes are easier.  On the right hand side you can see the vines are pruned down to two buds above the wire.  I just called in for a photo and a cup of tea sitting in the sunshine.
