Anchors aweigh!

Spent the day in Rotterdam with Regine, walking, talking, eating, drinking, sitting in the sunshine and spending a loooong time in a certain book shop.

In the early evening we took a boat trip along the Maas. Towards the end of the trip we approached the magnificent SS Rotterdam, our boat sailing along the bow, so close we could almost touch it. Wonderful!

The sun was setting, at one point turning the dull grey paint into a gleaming golden colour. A moment to remember.

We walked back to the station during blue hour, taking a few (*cough*) snaps of the Erasmus bridge. I'll upload them to Flickr later.

Now? Shower and bed.
