Moisture Begone!

One of my pottery classmates added too much water as she was using the potter's wheel. She had to take the mushy wet stuff and the dry trimmings from her project, blend them together by squeezing and kneading. Then she made fistful clumps as shown which she put out in the sun to dry out for 3 hours. After kneading one last time the clay had proper moisture balance and could be used again.
