Late Season Love

Short-winged Green Grasshopper Dichromorpha virdis... this pair hopped on my pants leg. They were so 'involved' that they completely ignored me as I got closer and closer with my phone to grab a few shots. In the *extras...A Green-spored Parasol Mushroom and the delicate lavender flowers of an Obedient Plant with some Red Pentas in the background. Obedient Plants are native to Florida and are named that because if you carefully twist/bend their stems they will tend to remain in that position.
