Granolithic

I step on this old bit of footpath almost every day I go to the office, and today I thought to find out a little more:

They used to have a motto, back in the 1940's, that went "When you see enduring work think of Stuart's". Seems quite apt! Sadly, I think they closed down about 10 years ago.
