Walk

We walked into & explored Douarnenez today. The main Blip is probably not my favourite, but it's chosen as it's the quirkiest. We couldn't understand why we could see this line of people initially, but they're crossing to Tristan Island on a very narrow (& probably seaweed-slippery) path which is only exposed at very low tide.

The port has a massive marina & a maritime museum in addition to the fishing & canning section. A section of the central part of the marina is reserved for pre-1969 sailing boats - mainly privately-owned, & quite a collection! There's also a range of traditional craft owned by the museum. My extras show the Telenn Mor, a reconstruction of a 19th century sardine fishing boat, plus a line of the modern equivalents in the commercial harbour.
