The day started with a pleasant sunrise.

A visit today to Llyn Cwmystradllyn. If you think people who call Windermere "Lake Windermere" have it wrong - mere means lake, so they are saying "Lake Winderlake", then Llyn Cwmystradllyn beats that hands down.

Llyn means lake, Cwm means valley, Ystrad means vale, so you have Lake ValleyValeLake!

On the way there I passed the Ynysypandy Slate Mill.
