It’s that time of year

I enjoy looking for different kinds of fungi which become more abundant as we sink into autumn. I think they make interesting and attractive subjects in a photograph. Apart from a group of shaggy ink caps which I came across on holiday (but never made it onto blip) these are the best I have found so far.

The weather has turned cooler since the weekend but was good enough for me to get on with some gardening. Having been away for over two weeks, the garden is definitely looking somewhat neglected and one afternoon hasn’t made much impact.
