Croatian recycling

We went to Split today to check out the Palace and the boats. Martin drove there, blimey, I wouldn’t have liked it - busy unfamiliar city roads, opposite side of the road, people and cars everywhere. However, once the parking app was sussed we were sorted.

Impressive palace and lovely waterfront and market. We watched this lady retrieving the plastic bottles from the bins. The recycling scheme here rewards you with monetary discounts and is made very appealing at the supermarket we visited with an automated machine that you feed your recycling into and out pops a receipt for discounts on your shop.

We arrived back this evening just before the rain started - and we are forecast 2/3 days of thunderstorms!
