River Almond

Met up with MT for tea & apple cinnamon scone then also another cuppa with cake.

After, I went for a walk from Cramond Brig to Grotto Bridge and Cammo Estate.

Learnt about a tree called Turkish Oak so will have to do a bit more research to identify it & hopefully locate it on the Estate. Amazing what you discover with a passing conversation about nature with someone - we had been talking about the nuthatch heard close by.

Beside the river, the water was reflecting the sky but as I was facing the sun lost most of the colour so changed to mono.

Liked the ripples round the rocks reminded me of the Zen Gardens with ripples raked round with the sand or small stones round the bigger rocks.
