Ben More

Our friend R came on the early ferry this morning and we then drove to Ulva Ferry and took the boat to Ulva. The weather was great, warm but enough wind to keep the midges away. We were lucky enough to see Buzzards, Golden Eagles and Sea Eagles. We went for a walk on the eastern part of the island and walked along the coast with good views of columnar jointing and Ben More with its top in the cloud. We went to the wee café by the ferry and had a bit of a West Highland welcome sadly. The extra is the view from the pier as a shower came in; Ben More in rain as well as mist.

Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is a rusty chain.
