Getting used to the routine now, mapping is going faster and we are seeing some interesting rocks. We had a visit from the traditional owners accompanied by the environment and heritage advisors, they are here to see some hand prints that were discovered a few weeks before I flew over.

In the afternoon we got a satellite message that another team member had delivered the new battery box to Georgetown. It was a rush to get there and back before dark as Georgetown is 1hr 30min away and subject to traffic (just cows really)

In the evening we had a basic burger meal and then turned in early, tomorrow we want to be in the mapping area at sunrise (615) so that we can finish mapping at 1515 and avoid the prolonged heat.
