Contrasts

Warwick Road, Kenilworth – looks and feels like a High Street. One of several hanging baskets with momentarily sunlit petunias, set against a leaden grey sky.

There is a Kenilworth High Street, but it is in the old town, near the castle. I'm reliably informed it's an old road with a couple of antique shops, a café/cake shop, firms of accountants and solicitors, and pricey terraced cottages. A misnomer, perhaps – but centuries-old!
