Shenzhen: Book Week

Book Week culminated in the Book Character Parade this morning (tomorrow is Sports Day) with many going to great lengths to bring their favourite characters alive (and that was just the staff members).

I taught Grade 1 (Year 2) before the parade and had to smile as the front of my room was a line-up of witch hats, wands, sunglasses, fedora hats, a bumble bee head-dress and a fox face mask, removed from fiddling hands but rightfully restored before the big moment. Only one spider man over-heated in class, not sure how he coped in the gym later!
