The George Moore Centre

I don't think I've shared a photo of our community centre before. Today there were no cars parked near it and so I took a quick shot.
This Grade II listed building was donated to the village by a local benefactor and former tea planter George Moore in 1928. In 1948 it became the local cottage hospital and then in 2013 it was purchased from the NHS to become the community centre.
It's a fabulous resource, there are three meeting rooms and a cafe you can hire, a beautician business, the library and a couple of flats.
