Moorhen

I had a very quiet day today. I had an unexpected long lie, not waking up until almost 9.30am which for me is very late. The rest of the day consisted of a bit of grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning up, packing for a short research trip over the next couple of days and then a short walk along the Water of Leith, where this colourful moorhen caught my attention.
