Company Headquarters

The weather changed today, from sunny and windy, to wet and dreich. We decided to stay around Stromness and do the hometown walk - which meant we could dodge the rain by stopping in at the Pier Arts Centre, and one or two shops and cafes.

We learnt several things, not least that mp3 audio tours aren't great for people who wear hearing aids. So technically I learned lots and Dad got a bit frustrated with the whole thing!

This lovely building is stop 3 on the tour, one-time headquarters of the Hudson Bay Company, and now the Pier Arts Centre.
