My Dad turns 85 tomorrow so most of the family met in Nelson on the weekend to wish him some good future years. 

While we were there he took one of his great grandsons out for a ride on his Spyder - Pheonix swears they were doing at least 130 on the straight!  Of course he wouldn't have been because that would be dangerous and illegal. Yeah right!

At 85 Dad still drives a Mustang convertible, rides a Spyder (as seen here) and drives various other vehicles.  And to top it off he's flying up to the North Island this week to pick up and ride back the new trike he's just bought.  (It's purple so I love it already!)

I truly hope he keeps enjoying life for a good many years yet.
