As always, the last week has been busy. First, because of our successes in the Kharkiv region, Russia continued terror against the civilian population. Now their priority targets are power plants and thermal boilers. They are repairing quite quickly or cities are transferred to other lines, but it still brings a lot of problems. I think this practice will continue in the winter, so we started preparing warm things and alternative power sources in advance. The winter will be hard, because all that is left in Russia is to blackmail the whole world with cold.
In general, it has been clear for several months that the Russian Federation lost the war. We have been suffering losses due to this aggression for 8 years, and no one adequate wants to be a colony of the Russian Federation. All that is happening now is the last gasps of a dictatorial regime
Although it was not visible from the outside, the aggression in 2014 was felt very strongly inside the country. First of all, economically. To better understand this, you can look at the exchange rate of our currency. During the global crisis in 2008, the hryvnia exchange rate to the dollar changed from 4 to 8 hryvnias, that is, the hryvnia became worth half as much. But in 2014, after the invasion of Donbas and the occupation of Crimea, the hryvnia fell very much. From 8 hryvnias per dollar, it fell to 25 hryvnias per dollar. It was a very big blow at the time, I remember how we had to look for free housing, because at the new exchange rate we couldn't afford anything at all. Currently, a cash dollar is sold here at 41 hryvnias, in 2023 the rate is forecast to be 50-60 hryvnias. It is a pity that the world works according to such a system that one person can completely destroy the economy of another country simply because he wants to.

In general, now the real autumn has already begun, it rains every day, the sky is not visible because of the clouds for weeks, and the whole time it is a rather sad state.
My wife and I work from morning to night every day, and this month we were able to collect money to rent an apartment. It was difficult, but we had a plan that we miraculously managed to execute. Now it is possible to save on food with humanitarian aid. There are quite a few headquarters in the city where food and hygiene kits are issued. A few days ago, the "I-Mariupol" headquarters even opened, it was created to help Mariupol residents who are currently in other regions of the country. We went there, there are a lot of photos of our city, nice children's play areas, there is a psychologist and a doctor, and they give out food once every 2 weeks. Product sets are quite strange, but at a time like this we are happy even with little things.
In general, the Mariupol headquarters gives out a set of a bottle of oil, a kilo of sugar, a pack of macaroni, a kilo of wheat porridge and a kilo of rice once every 2 weeks.

There is a certain silence at the front due to the weather conditions, small villages are gradually being liberated from the occupiers, I understand that preparations are being made for the next offensive. Seizing the initiative in the war had a rather strong effect on the morale of us and the enemy, so now we are even more united for the sake of victory. In the recently liberated cities, mass burials of local residents with traces of brutal torture are again found, rubble is being dissected, under which dozens of bodies of those killed by enemy bombings are found. It's really scary to be on the front line, because the enemy has only one intention - to occupy our country, and they don't need local residents for that. They have no support from the local, so everyone is perceived as an enemy and mercilessly tortured.
But I continue to believe in a better future, in peace and tranquility on earth. Someday this time will definitely come and everything will be fine.

Останній тиждень як завжди пройшов напружено. По перше через наші успіхи у Харьківській області росія продовжила террор проти мирного населення. Зараз у них приорітетними цілями є електростанції та теплові котельні. Їх досить швидко лагодять або переводять міста на інші лінії, але все одно це приносить багато проблем. Думаю зимою ця практика продовжиться, тому ми заздалегідь почали готувати теплі речі та альтернативні джерела живлення. Зима буде важкою, адже все що залишилося у росії - це шантажувати весь світ холодом.
Взагалі вже декілька місяців як зрозуміло, що рф програли війну. Ми вже 8 років несемо втрати через цю агресію та ніхто адекватний не хоче бути колонією рф. Все що тепер відбувається це останні вздохи диктаторського режиму
Хоч це не було помітно ззовні, але всередині країни агресія у 2014 році відчулася дуже сильно. У першу чергу економічно. Щоб це краще зрозуміти, можна подивитися на курс нашої валюти. Під час світового кризису у 2008 році курс гривні до доллара змінився з 4 до 8грн, тобто гривня стала вдвічи менше коштувати. Але у 2014 році, після вторгнення на Донбас та окупації Криму гривні стало зовсім погано. З 8грн за доллар вона впала до 25грн за доллар. Це було на той час дуже великим ударом, я пам'ятаю як нам доводилось шукати безкоштовне житло, бо за новим курсом ми взагалі не могли собі нічого дозволити. Зараз готівковий доллар у нас продають по 41грн, у 2023 році прогнозують курс по 50-60. Прикро що світ працює за такою ситстемою, що одна людина може повністю зруйнувати економіку іншої країни просто тому що йому так хочеться.

Загалом зараз вже почалася справжня осінь, кожен день йде дощ, неба не видно через хмари тижнями, та весь час досить сумний стан.
Ми з дружиною працюємо з ранку до ночі кожен день і за цей місяць змогли назбирати грошей на аренду квартири. Це було важко, але у нас був план, який ми дивом змогли виконати. Зараз виходить економити на їжі на гуманітарній допомозі. У місті зараз працює досить багато штабів де видають продуктові та гігієнічні набори. Декілька днів тому навіть відкрився штаб "ЯМаріуполь", він створений для допомоги маріупольцям які зараз знаходяться у інших регіонах країни. Ми сходили туди, там багато фотографій нашого міста, гарні дитячі ігрові зони, є психолог та лікар, а також видають їжу раз на 2 тижні. Продуктові набори досить дивні, але у такий час ми раді навіть дріб'язкам.
Загалом у маріупольському штабі видають раз на 2 тижні набор з пляшки олії, кіло цукру, пачки макарон, кіло пшеничної каші та кіло рису.

На фронті через погодні умови є певна тиша, поступово звільнюють маленькі села від окупантів, я так розумію відбувається підготовтка до чергового наступу. Перехват ініциативи у війни досить сильно вплинув на моральний стан нас та ворога, тому зараз ми ще більше об'єднуємся заради перемоги. У нещодавно звільнених містах знов знаходять масові поховання місцевих мешканців зі слідами жорстоких тортур, відбувається розбір завалів під якими знаходять десятки тіл вбитих ворожими бомбардуваннями. Опинитися на лінії фронту дійсно страшно, бо ворог все ж таки має лише один намір - окупувати нашу країну, а місцеві мешканці їм для цього не потрібні. Підтримки від місцевих окупанти не мають, тому кожного сприймають за ворога та нещадно катують.
Але я продовжую вірити у краще майбутнє, у мир та спокій на нішй землі. Колись цей час точно настане та все буде добре.
