Scarecrows

Plans to visit the Yorkshire Dales for an orienteering competition had to be cancelled. My knee has been painful since running last weekend. So we decided to stay at home.

Managed to get some more jobs sorted with a trip to the tip to get rid of some rubbish. As we were in Thornton Dale we decided on a walk to Ellerburn a small village upstream. It was busier than usual as we usually are there midweek.

This group of Scarecrows are perched just outside the farm and popular campsite in Ellerburn.
