First Minister announces £510,000 for HET

Tonight I attended an event in the Garden Lobby of the Scottish Parliament. It was organised by the Holocaust Educational Trust, which is 25 years old this year and included three young people who spoke movingly of their experiences of visiting Auschwitz.

I decided to blip this picture of the First Minister, Alex Salmond MSP as he announced increased funding of £510,000 for HET for the next two years. This will allow HET to carry on taking two plane loads of young people a year on a visit to Auschwitz.
