Autumn Walk

It was a beautiful day - that special Autumn light . We had a ploughman’s lunch at Horner then parked at Bossington and did our favourite circular walk around the Combe to Hurlstone Point . 
Lots of opportunity on the seats on the hillside to listen to the wind in the leaves and the sea gently breaking below . Just bliss . Also, a surprising number of flowers including this little violet and late flowering honeysuckle . Also sea campion .
We watched a seal off the point diving and resurfacing . 
It seemed a shame to leave such a glorious day and return home but the light disappears quickly .
