Today was the Queen's funeral.  She became Queen in 1952 and her Coronation was the following year in 1953.

It was the closing day of the ladies outdoor bowling season.  The 'fancy' table cloth, brought out on high days and holidays, was on display showing that the Ladies Section was founded in 1953.  The Bowling Club was formed in 1924.
