Peace at the end of the day

I had a lie in the morning after initially waking at 5am. I needed extra snoozy time!

Once I was up I helped make the first fried breakfast I’ve had in several weeks.

With the Queen’s funeral today (and extra Bank Holiday in the UK) it seemed the outside world was oh so peaceful today. There was very minimal road noise and nature seemed all the more beautiful as a result. I think having just been in the incredibly busy and bustling London the quiet was even more marked to my mind.

This was the a very lovely sunset I enjoyed, it seemed to pass so quickly though and you can see the ever threatening rain is not materialising.
