Egg Sitting

Mr and Mrs Oystercatcher must have thought they'd found the ideal site for their nest when they visited my work at the weekend. There was lots of gravel and plants, and even a pond nearby. Little did they know it was an ornamental garden. Monday morning must have come as a bit of a shock to them. Not a great shock as Mrs O had only laid one egg then. Now there are reported to be three. It'll be interesting watching the little Os hatch.
