End of an Era

I had a wander this morning to see what was around in the fungi line. Not a great deal but some interesting stuff. This is a Larch Bolete - one of the first fungi I learnt to identify. Watched some of the ceremonials at Windsor this afternoon. It must have been a long day for the royals! Elizabeth acceded to the throne just 3 weeks before I was born.
