Across Lewis

We left Ullapool this morning at 10:30 and managed to find a tv with sound in a lounge on the ferry , a good vantage point for funeral viewing :( the 2.5 hr crossing passed quickly and smoothly, and we arrived in Stornoway for lunch. Luckily we found a nice cafe open and then had a walk around the Lews Castle area, before crossing the island to Carloway . This vista opened up before us heading west.Before we checked in , we stopped at the amazing 4000 year old Calanais standing stones- awesome. We’ll be back there on a walk tomorrow so will probably blip then.
