Tintern Abbey

This morning we watched  the spectacle of Queen Elizabeth's funeral on TV, before  setting off for the Wye Valley where we are spending a few days on a walking holiday. 
It was really quite quiet driving along the M4; almost enjoyable in the late summer sunshine.
We arrived in time to take a short walk before  dinner, along the river from Tintern, with  good views of the  ruins of Tintern Abbey.
